Wellington Toastmasters
40th Celebrations
The Wellington Toastmasters Club, the oldest club in Wellington, and the
one from which all the other clubs in Wellington ultimately originated, celebrated
it's 40th anniversary of Toastmasters in Wellington in the Great Hall at
Parliament, on Thursday 23rd March 2006.
The function was hosted by Hon. Annette King, herself a former toastmaster
and attended by a few of the founding members, a number of Gourmet members
including Colin Perfect (who handed out awards etc) and large number of
toastmasters & guests. The historic Great Hall was a wonderful venue
for us.
